The HOME THEATER CONTROLLER app by Yamaha Corporation is a free multimedia application designed to provide easy operation of select Yamaha Home Theater Systems using your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. With this app, you can control basic functions such as volume up/down, input selection, and setting mode selection. It also offers auto/manual sound beam adjustment for YSP-2500 and precise sound beam adjustment for YSP-1400 and SRT-1000.
The app also allows you to select from a range of surround modes, offering expanded choices over the included remote control. To use the app, an active BLUETOOTH wireless connection between your Yamaha soundbar and your mobile device is required. Please ensure that you establish a connection first. The app supports iOS version 9 or above.
This application will not collect or externally transfer personal data stored on your smartphone/tablet. It uses BLUETOOTH function on your smartphone/tablet for the purpose of controlling BLUETOOTH enabled devices. The application collects user-related information using Google Analytics, including product name, operation records, and any potential fault information, as well as the basic information collected by Google Analytics.
